Bridge for Improvers - Bridge Breaks

Sunday 4th to Friday 9th October 2026

Suitable for players progressing from recent beginners toward confident club play, this course offers a friendly and supportive environment designed to help you learn, practise, and grow. All sessions are fully supervised and entirely non-competitive, ensuring you can focus on improving your game without pressure.

Budock Bridge Week includes teaching and guided play on:

  • Responding to 1NT – understanding systems, hand evaluation, and choosing the best contract
  • Advanced Trump Play – timing, ruffing techniques, and controlling entries
  • Reverses (Going Beyond the Barrier) – how to recognise, bid, and respond to reverse auctions
  • Roman Keycard Blackwood – structure, responses, and using it confidently to reach the right slams

All lessons are designed to appeal to a wide range of abilities.

There are a limited number of day tickets for our Bridge for Improvers course.
