Trebah Garden
Under 1 mile from Budock Vean.

Glendurgan Gardens
Approx 1 mile
Stroll down through the peaceful, exotic and playful valley to a sheltered beach at the bottom. Three valleys join into one at Glendurgan, where a beautiful and intriguing blend of exotic and native plants thrive. These highlights provide an insight to what awaits to be discovered throughout the different seasons. We even have a maze.
Ferry Boat Inn

The magical Ferry Boat Inn enjoys one of Cornwall's most idyllic locations with beautiful views across the timeless Helford Passage. The pub sits in a beautiful unspoilt cove with direct access to the beach and water and is surrounded by wonderful local walks along the South Coast including the nearby Trebah Garden
Helford Passage Beach
Approx 1 mile
Situated on northern shore of the picturesque Helford Estuary is the pleasant sand and shingle beach of Helford Passage. The backdrop is the 300 year old Ferry Boat Inn, a huddle of cottages and dinghies and boats of all shapes and sizes pulled up on the beachside.

Maenporth Beach
Approx 3 miles
A sandy cove, perfect for sun bathing, rockpooling fishing and boating. Maenporth Beach offers great views across Falmouth Bay towards Pendennis Castle and some superb coastal walking opportunities onwards towards the Helford river area. Beach cafe serving ice creams drinks and lunches.
Cornish Seal Santuary
Approx 5.5 miles
The SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline. When visiting the Sanctuary, you can experience wonderful marine animals up close and personal and learn all about their individual stories.
National Maritime Museum Cornwall
Approx 6 miles
The Museum is located on aptly named Discovery Quay, and is a vast, iconic building, home to exciting exhibitions and a wide range of galleries taking visitors on a journey through the influence of the sea on history and culture.
Via Ferrata
In need of an epic adrenaline adventure? How about Via Ferrata, the ultimate high wire adventure with the most rewarding zip wire in Cornwall? Located at Halvasso, about a 10 minute drive from our hotel and cottages. Fun for all the family.

St Michael’s Mount

Hop on a boat or walk across the causeway during low tide – to a community where modern life meets over a thousand years of history. Home to the St Aubyn family and a small community of island residents, explore the medieval church and castle, island cafe, souvenir shops and sub-tropical gardens.
Eden Project

Built into an old china clay pit, the Eden Project consists of giant greenhouse-like structures, called biomes, that house a variety of plant species from around the world and promotes environmental education and sustainability.
