Meet the producers behind The South West End!

Theatre producers Charlie and Gabby met and joined their 20 years of working in the theatre industry together to create Impossible Producing - excellent large scale high quality new theatre productions and an International performance festival led by Cornish teams, showcasing the skills of the Cornish creative sector.

Supper Club at Budock Vean Hotel, Cornwall

In their founding 4 years, Impossible have launched the Lord Mayors cultural strategy with a 500 strong outdoor adventure involving building a bridge across the Thames, created over 30 projects, have hit the front pages of the national news and have got locals talking with both provocative podcast The Reason Why and sculptured sea hats at Falmouth International Arts Fest.

In 2024, Impossible launched 2 major theatre productions led by Cornish talent - A Child of Science at Bristol Old Vic starring Truro's Adelle Leonce (from Netflix Fool Me Once), Meg Bellamy (The Crown), Sonoya Mlzuno (La La Land), Tom Felton (Harry Potter) and a new musical working with West End Co-producers and pop star Tom Fletcher (McFly) which will premiere at Theatre Royal Plymouth before transferring to the Southbank Centre London for Christmas.

Our regular and informal supper clubs are a lovely opportunity to gather with friends and family members for a 2 course fish supper and coffee (or tea), followed by a talk. We love to choose varied and unusual topics from seaweed to gardening and theatre to whales ! We gather from 6.30pm for a welcome drink in the golf bar and function area ready to sit down for dinner at 7pm.
