Visiting our corner of Cornwall is special at any time of the year. There’s always plenty to see, do and explore … and, of course, lots of time to sit back and relax.
Our special interest and seasonal breaks run throughout the year and include lots of ideas of things to do locally. Check in regularly and don’t forget to sign up to our newsletter to ensure you are kept in the loop. Sometimes we might have a special deal on, so keep an eye on our social media too.

Twixmas Breaks
Twixmas in Cornwall… one of our favourite times here at Budock Vean. The hotel wears the festive season beautifully with decorations and 15 real trees. During our Twixmas Break, expect golf competitions, guided walks, or visit the local area to see some of Cornwall’s best attractions. During your time at the hotel, enjoy the wonderful dishes created by our chef’s using the very best local and seasonal ingredients.
New Year’s Eve Black Tie Dinner
You don’t have to be staying with us to enjoy our New Year’s Eve celebrations. We have a limited number of spaces for people to come along for the evening only, so if you’d like to join us at Budock Vean and see the new year in in style read on!
christmas break
The hotel wears the festive season beautifully with some 15 real trees (all looking tip top and glistening), decorating our lounges, spa and welcoming you at the beautiful front porch and wonderful Christmassy touches all over the place. Expect the best of all celebrations with carol singers, choirs, crackers, Champagne and much more.
Watercolour Painting Breaks
Working on a seasonal theme and taking inspiration from the beautiful colours and patterns that nature provides. Shari, a Cornwall based artist and tutor, will bring a wealth of visual references and we can also gather inspiration in the wonderful grounds of the Budock Vean estate and the Helford River.
